Happy Mother's Day from the RUIFIER team to all the mothers, mums-to-be and maternal figures!
We hope you are enjoying your day reminiscing on memories; the good, the bad, the quirky and celebrating all that your mother has given you.
In celebration of Mother's Day and Women's History month, we sat down with RUIFIER girl and favourite mum-to-be Tabitha Willett to talk jewellery and becoming a mother.
10 QUESTIONS WITH TABITHA WILLETT:
3 words that best describe you?
Three words that describe me...I think probably kind, I’m quite girly and I’m quite stubborn as well.
What is the best advice you’ve received?
My mother always tells me “People are the size they make you feel” and I think that’s so spot on.
What’s your go-to piece of jewellery?
My go-to piece of jewellery… I will always have earrings on, whether they’re small dainty ones or big chunky statement ones for a night out or a fun look in the summer time. But earrings I think are probably my go-to.
What role does jewellery play in your day-to-day look?
I use jewellery to make my look a bit more feminine. I find I can wear a pair of boyfriend jeans and a loose shirt or something quite tomboy-ish and as long as I’ve got some jewellery on or a little bit of sparkle somewhere, then it really makes me feel more feminine.
Which piece of jewellery do you never take off?
I never take off my RUIFIER happy necklace, ever, I wear it every single day.
What do you love about RUIFIER?
I love that the pieces are quite dainty and you can wear them every single day, I also love that they’ve got a little bit of sense of humour in them. So even though they’re fine jewellery and very luxury they’re almost like a conversation piece.
Minimal or statement jewellery?
Day-to-day minimal definitely!
Do you have a favourite gemstone?
My favourite gemstone is probably a green gemstone; emerald or peridot I think looks really good set in gold and also on tanned skin.
What’s your first memory of jewellery or the first piece of jewellery you received?
I still have a bracelet that I got for my christening which is silver and has my name engraved on it. The first piece of jewellery I got given by a boyfriend I think was a vile big diamanté chunky necklace. That I still have, for memories.
Last question! Are you excited to become a mum?
I’m so excited to become a mother, I’ve always wanted to be a mum and I’m so excited that I’m having a little girl
