Chelsea Flower Show
Since 1912, the world-renowned Chelsea Flower Show has been hosted in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, a magnificent retirement home for veterans of the British Army.
This quintessentially British event has become synonymous with royalty, with the Queen having only missed two shows since the beginning of her reign in 1952.
The show, which is open to the public from Thursday 23rd – Saturday, 25th May is the most prestigious event in Britain’s gardening calendar.
New for 2019, Kate Middleton, HRH The Duchess of Cambridge co-designed the RHS Back to Nature Garden with award-winning landscape architects, Davies White Ltd. The garden is inspired by childhood memories and celebrates the countryside. The philosophy behind the Back to Nature Garden is to encourage families and communities to appreciate nature in its raw form and to feel both the mental and physical benefits that nature has to offer.
Head over to The Great Pavilion for show-stopping displays that are abundant in colour, or find more spectacular, innovative Show Gardens on Main Avenue. It’s sure to be an unforgettable day out.
